Polished but burly, flashy but nuanced, the 2021 Bone Rock is spectacular from the first pour, displaying incredibly dense, layered black fruit, dried herbs and charred meat aromas with ever-increasing intensity. The palate is saturated and staining but admirably walks the tightrope of balance despite its immense frame. The finish is absolutely explosive, yet it keeps an amazing amount of power in reserve, which slowly unfolds and swells with impressive length, tenacity and focus.
