Looking at the 2019 Syrah Walla Walla Valley, it has a backward, reductive nose of red and black currants as well as iron, ground pepper, violets, and smoked meat. Powerful and concentrated on the palate, it has a layered, balanced mouthfeel, ripe yet integrated tannins, and a great finish.
