I have always wanted to make a red blend with absolutely zero rules, guidelines or designations attached to its creation. A wine where all varieties, growing regions, exposures, soil types, and vessels are fair game. Enter "TATs", our newest red wine, specifically designed to chase pleasure and deliciousness at any cost. Our first rendition is a mashup of All-Star vineyards farmed up and down the Central Coast of California. Some of these sites are coastally influenced, full of intellectual savory tones, elegance and juicy acidity. Other vineyards are planted in the warmer canyons and hotter inland microclimates, which exude fruit, density and richness. Blending warm and cool climate vineyards together brings tension and layers to the finished wine. A couple to rock, a couple to stock is always a good mantra.
