Lucky number seven is sure to transport you straight to pleasureville, with its soaring aromatics and rich full texture. This intoxicating elixir is a blend of 86% Syrah, from many of our usual sources, 12% Mourvedre from Alta Mesa, finished off with just a dash of Viognier for liftoff. Andremily Syrah no. 7 leaps from the glass with loads of black and blue fruit, roasted meat, graphite, and black pepper notes. This is no wimpy wine. Full figured with plenty of tannin, and a finish that lasts, and lasts. If you count yourself a fan of our wines, you certainly do not want to miss this beauty, as it is sure to please. | Andremily Wines...the 2018 No 7 comes from a mix of top vineyards in Santa Barbara County and will spend 22 months in 65% new French oak. Inky hued, with a killer nose of bacon fat, charcoal, ground pepper, smoked game, and both black and blue fruits, it's deep and full-bodied, offering incredible purity of fruit, building tannins, and a great finish. It's another brilliant, brilliant wine in the making that's unquestionably in the same league as the 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Don't miss it. | 97-100 points, Jeb Dunnuck for jebdunnuck.com
