The current release of AT2D (as we like to call it) cosists of 100% Grenache. She hails from Jack Creek Vineyard, the western most site in the Willow Creek AVA of Paso Robles, CA. This wine was completely de-stemmed, fermented entirely whole berry, and aged in 50% new puncheons. We always seek to create a wine that highlights the aromatics, flavor, and structure of pure Grenache. The new oak acts as a tool to soften tannin, elevate varietal character, and create a silky smooth mouthfeel without impacting the elegance of the fruit itself. All Grenache, the translucent ruby 2019 A Tale of Two Dudes boasts a rocking nose if kirsch, herbes de Provence, ground pepper, and candied violet and orange peel-like nuances.
